Indonesia New Visa Regulation Updates - April 2020

In response to the development of COVID-19 situation, the Indonesian government has tightened its border security rules and barred the entry or transit of passengers to Indonesia. This does not apply to:

  • Nationals of Indonesia

  • Passengers with a Temporary Stay Permit (ITAS) or Permanent Stay Permit (ITAP)

  • Airline crew

  • The following passengers:

    1. Passengers with a Diplomatic Visa or Service Visa

    2. Passengers with a Diplomatic Stay Permit or Service Stay Permit

    3. Medical Aid Workers or Food Sustenance Workers for Humanitarian purposes

    4. Foreigner/expatriates working on strategic national projects

 

All the passengers who are eligible to enter Indonesia (except nationals of Indonesia) must comply with the following requirements:

  • Have a valid health certificate in English issued by Health Authority from the respective country. It must be valid within 7 days and state the passenger is free from respiratory disease, and

  • Have no travel history in the last 14 days from China (People’s Rep.), France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Korea (Rep.), Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Vatican City (Holy See), and

  • Agree for self-quarantine for 14 days and fill in a statement of compliance on arrival.

 

At Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach, the safety and health of our guests and employees remain as our top priority. As the situation continues to develop, we are constantly evaluating our mitigation measures to ensure that it complies with the latest standard from the government.

 

We have implemented a series of precaution measures at both the front and back of the house. On top of the heightened standard of cleaning and hygiene conduct in all the areas in the hotel, we have provided hand-sanitizer on various points across the hotels. An in-house clinic and 24-hours doctor-on-call service is also available for any guests who are feeling unwell.

We conduct daily body-temperature checks for all of our employees and ensure they are equipped with proper tools to handle all the tasks to comply with the latest hygiene and sanitation protocols.

 

In this difficult situation, our heart goes to everyone who is infected by the pandemic and we pray that the situation will improve as soon as possible.
