To sustain the local communities’ movement in keeping up the hygiene and sanitation practices, the Management has donated 3 portable washbasins, each one to:

- Bualu Village’s BUPDA – received by Aditya, the representative of the Head of Bualu Village.
- Dispora Kuta Selatan – received by AA Mustika, the Chief of Dispora.
To support Bali Regional Police force, the Management has delivered 2 portable washbasins and 1,000 units of reusable face masks. The donations were received by AKBP AA GD Pujanggayasa, the Head Division of Bali Regional Police Social Service.
All the donations were made on separate occasions in May and personally delivered by the hotel’s General Manager, Masaya Hasebe, accompanied by I Wayan Sarwa, a Senior Social Activist in the Benoa Village.
“Hygiene and sanitation are essential for human life and it is even more prominent now to ensure that everyone has access. It is our corporate social responsibility policy to contribute to our local communities, and we wish our donation of portable washbasins will help the people adhering to the cleanliness guidelines in the public places”, said Masaya Hasebe. “We will continue to support the government and our local communities to overcome this difficult time together” he further added.
The pandemic has created a change of lifestyle with heightened sense of cleanliness and a different take on human interactions. To keep up with the ever-changing development of the New Normal, Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach continues to update its standards of procedures in every aspect of the service and operation which comply with the highest cleanliness, hygiene, and safety protocols instructed by Okura Nikko Hotel Management, as well as the associates’ safety and health.
