Opening a new chapter in their recipe book, Bali Luna restaurant at Hotel Nikko Bali Benoa Beach has launched a new menu concept which features an appetizing combination of comfort food and healthy ingredients.
“The whole idea behind the new menu concept is to let people know that healthy food can be delicious too. Here at Bali Luna, not only we keep that in mind while creating the recipe, we had done the extra work for you by calculating the calorie counts for those who wish to control their nutrition intake,” explained the hotel’s Executive Chef, I Dewa Gede Eka Putra.
The new menu boasts a wide range of choices with the best locally sourced ingredients. Most of the vegetables are delivered fresh from a hydrophonic farm in Plaga, the seafood selections like barramundi are coming from a sustainable fish farm in Negara, and the precious sea salt is ethically farmed and sourced from Amed in Eastern coast of Bali. The local ingredients are paired with high-quality, imported ingredients to bring out tasteful creations for a delightful dining experience. Vegetarian and gluten free options are easily spotted on the menu and each dishes are tagged with calorie count to help you plan your diet. For those who require more attention to their meal, Bali Luna’s culinary team welcomes any request to adjust the menu to suite other dietary requirements.
With over 40 mouthwatering selections and a dedicated section for DIY sandwich, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The 45 Below selections feature tasty creations served raw or cooked below 45 degree celcius to preserve the nutrients. Under the Grill Selection, butcher and seafood range is ready to be grilled to your preferred wellness, acompannied by your choice of sauce and two sides. The menu book also includes light bites, favorite Eastern and Western recipes, sandwich and its kind, bowls of soup, artisanal pizza, and not to forget, an array of dessert selections to order or choose from the cake display.
To quench your thirst, the mixologist at Bali Luna had prepared an additional range of healthy juices and smoothies to complete your healthy dining experience. Not only loaded with fresh ingredients to give the most refreshing taste, the drinks are perfect to give your body a thorough cleanse and energy boost.
The new selections are available for dine in from 11:00 to 23:00 daily. Each meal is served with a gorgeous view of the azure pool and fresh breeze from the ocean, making it a perfect experience not only for your taste bud, but also your body and mind.
